The Advertising Sales Representative sells and implements integrated marketing programs for the entire Meredith Agrimedia profit center including Successful Farming, Living the Country Life and Country Gardens Brand. The programs and packages encompass all media vehicles which can include: online, print, radio, broadcast, events, database and others. This position manages and develops relationships across the entire customer base, including clients and agencies. This position will handle existing business and will also be expected to bring new accounts on board.
Essential Job Functions - Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 40% -Sells integrated marketing programs across the Meredith Agrimedia portfolio 40% - Establishes relationships with key customers & prospects throughout assigned sales territory 10% - Collaborates regularly with other Account Executives on business that spans the entire Meredith Agrimedia portfolio 5% - Provides accurate sales forecasts to management 5% - Manages individual travel and entertainment budgets within allocated budgeted amounts 100%
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Agriculture or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience: Minimum of five years’ sales experience. Appropriate agency experience may be considered. Agricultural background preferred.
